Summary:
|
As part of the Paloma Valley High School Campus Additions and Alterations Project (“The Project”), the District has requested a proposal from Marcene Taylor, Incorporated (MTI) for construction cost planning and estimating services. The Project is currently in design and consists of the modernization of existing administration (building A); existing theater, band, and auto shop building (building T); construction of a new multi-purpose building (building M); and associated site work. MTI will develop and provide four (4) estimates as part of their services. MTI’s services are required to update project budgets while it is in design as well as for submission to the Division of State Architect’s (DSA) Office as part of the project submission. DSA requires this information to ensure the project meets established DSA guidelines for project alteration costs as compared with new construction costs. MTI’s services will be provided at a cost not to exceed $65,000.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through Various Facilities Funds, not the General Fund.
