Summary:
|
The Board of Trustees previously approved, and the District has undertaken the facilities project known as the Liberty High School Project, which consists of constructing a new high school facility. On March 20, 2019, the Board of Trustees approved the contract with Pro-Craft Construction, Inc. ("Pro-Craft") in the amount of $4,470,000 for all services related to site plumbing on the Liberty High School Campus. During the completion of Pro-Craft's scope of work, some changes became necessary due to site conditions and direction from Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD). Change Order #23-023 was necessary due to the relocation of a fire hydrant at the direction of the EMWD Reclaimed Water Inspector. The fire hydrant's planned location was deemed too close to a domestic water line. Change Order #23-024 was a result of moving a storm drain line that was in conflict with the location of the flagpole in front of the administrative building. These changes resulted in Change Orders #23-023 in the amount of $4,929.38 and Change Order #23-024 in the amount of $2,767.40; for a total cost of $7,696.78.
This is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need to mitigate schedule impacts on the Liberty High School Project.
