Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District entered into an Agreement for Credit Recovery with Graduation Alliance, Inc. for the 2022-23 school year on July 12, 2022. These services support students who need additional support with college preparatory classes. These services are provided to District students that have failed previous courses or need access to A to G courses for college acceptance.
Pursuant to the District’s Administrative Regulation 3312, the Board approved this Agreement via the Report of Purchases since the Purchase Order associated with and sent to the vendor with this contract was $9,500. However, this program has proven successful in recuperating credits and is being utilized by more students. With the increase in student usage, there is a need to increase the purchase order to $19,500.
The initial term of this Agreement is from July 12, 2022, through August 30, 2023, and shall allow additional services for students depending on the need. The estimated increase based on current needs is an additional $10,000 for a total contract cost of $19,500.
This increase is being brought before the Board as a ratification due to the success of the program and the need to provide additional opportunities for students to take courses.
