In accordance with Education Code Sections 42126 and 42127, on June 3, 2024, the Board held a Public Hearing regarding the District's Budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
Prior to opening the Public Hearing, the Board, the public, and all other interested parties heard a report that provided factors used in developing the budget, the current financial condition of the District, multi-year financial projections, and other relevant factors.
The proposed District budget is attached and is also available for public review in hard copy at the District Administrative Center.
Pursuant to the Board’s fund balance policy, the Board may designate a portion of their reserves as a committed fund balance. The committed fund balance does not fall within the local reserve cap of 10%. Resolution No. 39:23-24 authorizes a committed fund balance for 2024-25.
