Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into an Agreement with THINK Together to serve as the Workforce Readiness Facilitator for Perris Lake High School (PLHS) and Scholar+ Online Learning Academy (SOLA). Think Together will provide a comprehensive career awareness program to prepare high school students for the professional workplace through training, hands-on practice, and career-oriented internships. Work-based learning opportunities include presentations from guest speakers, field trips, job shadowing, career-related mentoring, work experience training, and internships. All activities will be delivered by Robert Bryant, High School Workforce Readiness Facilitator, who has expertise in career technical education and work-based learning strategies.
The term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, at a total cost of $74,520.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through the Title 1 Fund, not the General Fund.
