Summary:
|
The District contracted with Achieve Health Management (AHM) in March 2021 to provide COVID-19 testing at no cost to the district, employees, or families of students required to test. AHM provided this service at no cost by submitting for reimbursement to the employee’s medical insurance provider or by utilizing available federal funds for those who are not insured or who have not provided insurance information. On March 22, 2022, the District was notified that the federal funding provided to AHM had been exhausted and that AHM would need to invoice the District $55 per PCR test administered beginning March 24, 2022. The District entered into Addendum No. 1, while an alternative testing plan that included the use of no-cost antigen tests could be developed. The total cost for paid PCR tests is estimated not to exceed $55,000.
