On September 16, 2020 the Board approved an Agreement with ConnectEd for Professional Services to co-design long term strategies for systematic pathway changes for Liberty High School. The District would like to amend the Agreement with ConnectEd to reflect a change in the scope of services. This includes the modification of services within the District Leadership Team Development and Support and the Work-based Learning Support Systems. Scope of services was reassessed to reflect a current needs assessment and to make room in the scope of a Master Schedule Design Service. Specifically, Master Schedule Design Services are included in order to implement adaptive and technical 2021-22 schedule shifts to move the current master schedule design closer to the ideal state. ConnectEd will meet with district leadership and principals to understand master schedule barriers and clearly define the ideal state for the 2021-22 school year. Organized engagement with the site leadership and scheduling team will focus on Margaret Wheatly’s Six Circle Model in order to develop “above and below the green line” strategies for organizational change as collaborative established priorities and non-negotiables that align the staff and budget process to the master schedule frame.
This Amendment No. 1 allows for services to conduct a comprehensive district wide review of student outcomes and course enrollment over multiple years examining issues of equity, special education, ELL, socioeconomically disadvantaged, and students of color. The Amendment only modifies the scope of work and does not increase the overall cost for services previously approved by the Board. Amendment No. 1 of the Agreement shall be from February 11, 2020 through June 30, 2021.
