Summary:

At the June 2021 Board of Trustees (Board) meeting of the Perris Union High School District (PUHSD), the Board approved an architectural Agreement with PJHM Architects for the Perris Lake Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) Remodel and Improvement Project. At that time, this Agreement included the addition of a culinary component to the Perris Lake MPR Building. Through the development of the project scope of work, it has been determined that the culinary component of this project will not be included as part of the scope of work. This adjustment to the scope of work has created the need to obtain a new proposal for this project which will now include the design work required to complete the construction of a new DSA PC-approved shade structure measuring approximately 30’x54’; new concrete walkway, concrete paving under the shade structure, alteration to the existing parking lot; passenger loading/drop-off zone, and accessible P.O.T. project to be submitted/reviewed/approved by DSA via OTC approval process. The construction administration phase is included in this proposal, as well as the project close-out phase as DSA Certification. The cost of PJHM Architects' services will be provided at a cost not to exceed $38,300.
This project is funded through the Special Reserve Fund for Capital Outlay Projects through a transfer that was made from Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental Concentration 2021-22 carryover funds.
