Summary:
|
The Board of Trustees previously approved, and the District has undertaken the facilities project known as the Liberty High School Project, which consists of the construction of a new high school facility. During its March 20, 2019 meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the contract with Pro-Craft Construction, Inc. in the amount of $4,470,000 for all services related to site plumbing on the Liberty High School Campus. As part of Pro-Crafts scope of work, all site storm drain lines were to be installed and connected to the offsite stormwater and sewer lift station lines. Due to a delay in receiving approved offsite stormwater plans, Pro-Craft was asked to maintain and connect the stormwater and sewer lift station lines for a period of time in excess of their original scope of work. Pro-Craft’s additional services included pumping the storm drain and sewer lift station lines of dirty water and building an access ramp to the sewer lift station for a vacuum truck. These additional services resulted in Change Order #23-021 in the amount of $15,595.50
This is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need to mitigate schedule impacts due to the conditions of the sewer and lift station lines. Ratification was necessary to ensure the site storm drain and sewer lines were in appropriate condition to tie in once all approvals were received.
