Summary:
|
The Board of Trustees previously approved, and the District has undertaken the facilities project known as the Liberty High School Aquatic Facilities Project, which consists of the construction of a new 33-meter pool facility. During its January 20, 2021 meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the award of 17 construction categories related to the construction of the new aquatic Facility. The landscaping category of work related to the new aquatic Facility was not included as part of the project bid. The landscape category was issued to Pierre Landscape, Inc. as a change order to their original Liberty High School Construction Contract. This was due to the need to have Pierre Landscape, Inc. complete the original scope of work in areas adjacent to the aquatic Facility in conjunction with the additional new work that is being added as part of the new aquatic Facility. The cost for this change is to be included in Change Order #02-006 for Pierre Landscape, Inc. in the amount of $219,004.
This is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the need of completion of the original scope of work related to Pierre’s original Liberty High School Construction Contract and the new additional scope of work related to Change Order # 02-006, which adds the landscaping work required as part of the Liberty Aquatic Facility.
