Summary:
|
Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS), with the national PEPPM Technology Bidding Program, conducted a competitive bidding process to purchase Office and Instructional supplies and awarded a contract to Office Solutions. On January 19, 2022, the Board of Trustees adopted Resolution No. 13:21-22 authorizing the use of Contract #530280, PEPPM 2020 Office and Instructional Supply Catalog Bid, to purchase office supplies through Office Solutions. This contract between KCSOS and Office Solutions afforded the District the opportunity to purchase office and instructional supplies through their catalog pricing at a discounted rate than what was currently in place.
On August 14, 2023, KCSOS extended the Agreement with Office Solutions for an additional term of one (1) year until September 30, 2024, with the option to renew for one (1) additional one (1) year term upon mutual written agreement. This resolution would authorize the District to purchase office supplies through Office Solutions at a discounted rate through September 30, 2024. Should the Agreement be extended beyond September 30, 2024, the District wishes to continue utilizing the contract for continued discounts.
