Summary:
|
In order to provide bells and paging for the campus and to repair the outdated system, Perris Union High School District contracted with Thompson Engineering to install a Rauland Telecenter U Bell/PA/ Life Safety System at the Heritage High School Administrative Building.
In order to provide bells and paging for parts of the campus and to repair the outdated system, the District contracted with Thompson Engineering for the purchase and installation of the Rauland Telecenter Campus Controller, sixteen (16) Zone modules, six (6) uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) eight (8) amplifiers, one (1) Axio Module, mountings kits, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) interface, and miscellaneous parts for installation.
The Rauland Telecenter U Bell/PA/ Life Safety System project is necessary to allow the school to have their bells and paging integrated with a crisis communication network, including lockdown protocols and emergency response touch screens. The integration can also allow for control of mechanical and non-mechanical HVAC modules.
The total cost of this project was $88,960.44.
This Agreement is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the urgency of getting this installed and working before the start of the 2022-23 school year.
