The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with Blue Water Educational Consulting to conduct site-level training for Alternative to Suspensions (ATS) that will familiarize administrators at Pinacate Middle School and Perris High School with the premises and philosophies inherent in restorative practices. Services under this Agreement include support and training in developing and implementing an Alternative to Suspension Program Model, including on-site Restorative Discipline Training for administrators and Restorative Workshops to replace lunch and after-school detentions. This service will include three main components: - An academically rigorous online platform - Social/emotional support via individual and group counseling - College/career readiness support along with the ATS Program Model The combination of these components embedded within the model has had tremendous impacts on students and families in other districts that utilize the ATS Program Model with an at-risk student population. The services will be rendered over 20 days during the 2022-23 school year working with Perris High School and Pinacate Middle School to implement the ATS Program Model. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, at a cost not to exceed $36,000.
