Summary:

|
The Perris Union High School District entered into three Service Agreements with Behavioral Autism Therapies, LLC, for services to be rendered for three individual students. The services include a one-to-one (1:1) Behavior Intervention Specialist to provide intervention strategies and communication approaches to minimize potential student escalation. The specialist will also collaborate with District staff and providers regarding the needs of each student. The services include an ABA Certified Supervisor to document interventions, collaborate with all necessary staff, and attend IEP meetings to disseminate information.
The term of Agreement No. 1 shall be from August 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, and the term of Agreements No. 2 and 3 shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, at an estimated combined total cost of $215,000 based on services known to date.
This is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the immediate need for services during the Summer Session 2 held from July 10, 2023, through July 21, 2023. |
