On May 19, 2021, the Board approved the Multi-Year Agreement with SchoolPointe for the purchase of a web hosting and Content Management System (CMS). Effective June 2021, SchoolPointe became part of Finalsite, and as a result, contract terms and conditions have been updated. Finalsite provides robust service offerings, including those with similar functionality to the services utilized under the SchoolPointe Agreement. It has commenced streamlining its service offerings to benefit its combined customer base. SchoolPointe’s CMS will be deactivated on December 31, 2021. The District wishes to continue its contract with Finalsite for the Purchase of Web Hosting and Content Management System (CMS).
The term of this Agreement with Finalsite shall be from January 20, 2021, through June 30, 2025, finalizing the school year commenced with SchoolPointe and beginning Finalsite Period 1 on July 1, 2022, through Period 3, June 30, 2025. The total amount for the multi-year contract is $38,067. The cost will be split between the District and the California Military Institute (CMI) based on projected enrollment percentages for each school year and billed as a direct cost to CMI per the Memorandum of Understanding between PUHSD and CMI. The estimated cost for the District will be $34,260.30, and the estimated cost for CMI will be $3,806.70.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 operating budgets funded through the General Fund.
