Summary:
|
On February 4, 2022, the District entered into a six (6) month Agreement with Parchment, LLC for K12 District Records Services in the amount of $9,900. Amendment No. 1 to this Agreement extends the term of the Agreement for one (1) year at a total cost of $16,683. The implementation of this program supports the Perris Union High School District students in the college application process. Parchment provides digital transcripts to colleges and universities that students apply to. The use of this service will allow students to request transcripts without any out-of-pocket costs for the requests. By doing this, we are removing barriers that often keep our students from completing the application process due to financial challenges.
Amendment No. 1 shall be from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.
Amendment No. 1 is being brought before the Board as ratification due to an error by the vendor and untimely receipt of the Amendment. The vendor neglected to disable services on June 30, 2022, while we negotiated a contract for the new school year, and students have had the benefit of utilizing the services up to this point.

The cost for this item is included in the 2022-23 operation budget funded through Various COVID Funds, not the General Fund.
