Summary:

Dian Martin, Director of Learning Support Services, respectfully requests the Board of Trustees' approval to attend and travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, with Juan Santos, Perris High School Principal and Learning Support Services classified and certificated staff, to attend the 2023 National ESEA Title I Conference, February 1-4, 2023.
The National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators (NAESPA) is an organization comprised of State ESEA Program Administrators and their staff from each state and territory, charged with managing their state federal education program. They ensure compliance with federal regulations but, more importantly, work to see that all children — especially those living in economically disadvantaged conditions — have the opportunity to receive a high-quality education.
The National ESEA Conference aims to coordinate federal education programs under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and other federal programs. Conference attendees unite to address a shared goal – how to best meet the needs of disadvantaged students. In addition to hearing from renowned educational experts on stage, the attendees will have multiple engagement opportunities with presenters, colleagues, and exhibitors, as well as learn about the latest developments in education - from your local school, district, state, and federal level.
