Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District (“District”) desires to become a participating member of the 1 Governmental Procurement Alliance (1GPA), a National Purchasing Cooperative. 1GPA has been designated by multiple Lead Agencies as the administrator of the purchasing cooperative and has been delegated authority to enter into contract with Local Educational Agencies, including the District, for the participation and membership in the Cooperative. As a Participating Entity, the District may leverage contracts monitored by 1GPA, including CMAS contracts, thus alleviating Members’ administrative costs and overhead. Each 1GPA contract leveraged by the District will be presented to the Board for approval and executed prior to any obligation to the District.
Becoming a participating member of the 1GPA will provide the District access to procurement benefits, including obtaining legally compliant and economically priced services and products. Services under this Agreement are in the best interest of the District.
