Education law never ceases to change and grow, which necessitates that school districts update policies and regulations and add/delete/change policies and regulations to meet the law's mandates. The reason for their inclusion in the district policy manual is summarized in the attached justification document.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt the following board policy and administrative regulation revisions: BP/AR 5113.1 - Chronic Absence and Truancy; AR 5113.11 - Attendance Supervision; BP/AR 5141.22 - Infectious Diseases; AR 5144.1 Suspension and Expulsion/Due Process; AR 5145.3 - Nondiscrimination/Harassment; BP/E 5145.6 - Parental Notification; BP/AR 5145.7 - Sexual Harassment; and AR/E 5145.71 - Title IX Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedures.
