Education law never ceases to change and grow, which necessitates that school districts update policies and regulations and add/delete/change policies and regulations to meet the mandates of the law. Their inclusion in the district policy manual is summarized in the attached justification document.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees receive for its review and consideration, as part of the first reading: BP 6142.5 - Environmental Education; BP/AR 6142.8 - Comprehensive Health Education; AR 6162.51 - State Academic Achievement Tests; BP 6120 - Response to Instruction and Intervention; BP/AR 6146.1 - High School Graduation Requirements; BP/AR 6164.4 - Identification and Evaluation of Individuals for Special Education; BP/AR 6164.41 - Children with Disabilities Enrolled by their Parents in Private School; and BP/AR 6164.5 Student Success Teams.
