Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with Firmly Founded Coaching to provide a mental resilience program for students at Pinacate Middle School. The “Sidekick to Hero” is a training designed to introduce powerful mental resilience tools to the entire student body. Each training day will include interaction lessons and team building activities designed to improve the skills of cognitive awareness and control. The program includes one (1) schoolwide presentation, four (4) day bootcamp for 60-90 students, shirts and stickers for each student, monthly follow-ups with a cohort of 30 students, and activity day in May for a cohort of 30 students. The term of this Agreement shall be from August 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 at a total cost not to exceed $19,600.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through the Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.
