Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into a Staffing Service Agreement with RO Health, LLC for various student support LVN services and assessments as required for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year, including extended school year (ESY), and the 2023-24 school year, including ESY. The services would be used to provide nursing and other IEP services as required, including but not limited to a tracheotomy, G-Tube feeding, and changing. These services would be provided to District students with Free Appropriate Public Education and triennial and additional assessments as determined by the IEP team and Special Education office. This Agreement will also cover any compensatory services required for students.
The term of this Agreement shall be from March 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. The estimated annual cost, based on services known to date, is $312,485.19.
This item is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the staff shortages faced by contractors we currently have Agreements in place with and the need to mitigate the continuous need for services in a timely manner.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school year operating budgets funded through Special Education, not the General Fund.
