Summary:
|
The California Military Institute (CMI) would like to contract with Solution Tree to provide a plan that supports CMI in design, implementation, and ongoing support with Professional Learning Communities. This would provide support for leadership teams and the principal with training specific to their roles in leading and sustaining the PLC effort, focusing on building shared knowledge, distributed leadership, and curriculum and instruction that results in improved teaching and learning. Solution Tree would provide support and training to address topics concerning instructional agility and differentiation and ensure schools have a system of timely interventions for students who require additional support with academic issues. One of the critical characteristics of a Professional Learning Community at Work is a commitment to continuous improvement. The educators within the California Military Institute understand that to sustain their success and fulfill the commitment to educate every child at a rigorous level, implementing high-performing PLCs is a proven strategy.
This Agreement shall be for one (1) year from June 1, 2023, through April 18, 2024, at a cost not to exceed $76,400.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 operating budget funded through the Charter Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Fund, not the General Fund.
