California Boring Agreement.PVHS Project_23-24.pdf
Summary: The Perris Union High School District requested multiple proposals for site investigative and potholing services as it relates to the design and approval of off-site plans for the installation of a traffic signal at Paloma Valley High School as part of the Paloma Valley High School Additions and Alterations Project (the Project). The District would like to enter into an Agreement with California Boring, Inc. to conduct these services for the Project. California Boring will pothole the area in which the new traffic signal will be installed to ensure there are no underground obstructions, such as utilities, rocks, or anything that would necessitate the relocation of the planned traffic signal location. The services for this work will take approximately four days to complete at a cost not to exceed $35,000.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through Various Facilities Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with California Boring, Incorporated for site investigation and potholing services for the Paloma Valley High School Campus Additions and Alterations Project.
