Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into Service Agreements with Behavioral Autism Therapies, LLC for services to be rendered for two (2) students. The services include a one-to-one (1:1) behavior intervention specialist to provide intervention strategies and communication approaches to minimize any potential for student escalation. The specialist will also collaborate with District staff and providers regarding the needs of each student. The services also include an ABA Certified Supervisor to document interventions, collaborate with all necessary staff, and attend IEP meetings to disseminate information.
The term of these Agreements shall be from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, at an estimated annual cost of $89,000 for the first contract and $55,000 for the second contract, for an estimated total cost of $144,000 based on services known to date.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through Special Education, not the General Fund.
