Summary: The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with Kicks to Learn to provide a blended Social Emotional Learning (SEL) & Sports Program for students at Pinacate Middle School. The Kicks to Learn qualified staff operates in teams at the site, providing assistance as directed. Some of their programs include overseeing outdoor activities and social interaction through lunchtime sports and SEL-based physical activity programs aligned to CASEL’s Five Core Competencies.

The term of this Agreement shall be from August 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, at a cost not to exceed $41,290.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through Title IV Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement for Professional Services with Kicks to Learn to provide a social emotional learning and sports program at Pinacate Middle School.
