Summary: The District's Educational Services Department has made recommendations for our district-wide course catalog updates. At this time, we are submitting a new Career Technical Education(CTE) course in the RCOE Health Science and Medical Technology Sector: RCOE Anatomy & Physiology for the Health Profession. This course meets the UC/CSU A-G Requirement "D."

RCOE Anatomy & Physiology for the Health Profession is a rigorous course designed around the framework of the health profession in general. It provides a solid foundation for understanding the human body's structure and systems and how they interact to maintain homeostasis due to illness and disease (e.g., diabetes, dehydration, or hypoglycemia). The clinical material and class labs are designed to bridge the concepts presented in the lecture to real-life applications and scenarios.
