Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District has five schools (Heritage High School, Liberty High School, Paloma Valley High School, Perris High School, and Pinacate Middle School) certified through RIMS Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) and AVID Center in San Diego. This contract covers the licensing fee and the support each site receives from personnel at RIMS AVID and AVID Center. Support includes coaching for AVID site coordinators, site teams, site administration, and district administration, as well as assistance with data management of the AVID program, site visits, writing of the site plan, the annual certification self-study, and implementation of the plans. Liberty High School will be purchasing the AVID Secondary Library Package and the AVID Summer Institute or DigitalXP Registration Fee.
The total cost for these services and products is $18,585. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.
