Summary:
|
Chad Barajas, Heritage High School Teacher, requests approval from the Board of Trustees to attend an overnight field trip with forty (40) Heritage High School students and six (6) adult chaperones, including himself, to attend the annual student leadership conference, sponsored by the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA). Student leaders from Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties meet at the Disneyland Resort to participate in leadership workshops and networking opportunities. This conference is an excellent opportunity for team bonding activities and for the students to develop their leadership skills and create a memorable experience.
Funding to attend the conference is being paid by the ASB general account, and transportation will be provided by district site vehicles.
