Summary:
|
On October 9, 2023, the Perris Union High School District (“The District”) issued a Public Works informal Notice Inviting Bids for the California Military Institute Esports Lab Project requiring network cabling and equipment upgrades (“The Project”). This project includes network switch gear, patch panels, enclosures, conduit, and cabling for the California Military Institute’s new esports lab.
The electronic bid opening was held on October 30, 2023. Bids were submitted as follows:

AMS.NET Inc / $27,618.73
Avidex Industries, LLC / $29,911.00
Veterans Communication Services, Inc. / 38,656.00
The bid documents of the apparent low bidder were reviewed for responsiveness and responsibility. Upon thorough review by the Purchasing and Technology Departments, it was determined that AMS.NET is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Pursuant to Public Contract Code 20111, the District is recommending the award of contract to AMS.NET for the esports lab network cabling at the California Military Institute.

The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through the Charter Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds and Arts, Music, and Instructional Materials Discretionary Block Grant, not the Charter General Fund.
