Summary: To maintain parity among all employee groups, the District recommends the salary schedules for all unrepresented employees (confidential, certificated management, classified management, and other unrepresented employees) be increased consistent with the March 20, 2024 Board recommended salary increase to the Perris Secondary Teacher Association (PSEA) employees. The Board approved an ongoing five-percent (5%) increase to all salary schedules effective July 1, 2023, for all unit members in paid status as of January 1, 2024. This ongoing increase is inclusive of the two-percent (2%) increase previously approved. This recommended increase does not apply to the Superintendent or other members of the Superintendent’s Cabinet.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2023-24 operating budget report.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Salary Increase for Management, Confidential, and Unrepresented Employees as presented.
