Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District, along with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District, cooperatively submitted a Request for Pricing (RFP) for the purchase of fresh and processed produce for the National School Lunch Program, Seamless Summer Program, and the School Breakfast Program for the 2021-22 school year. The RFP closed on April 01, 2021, and was awarded to Gold Star Foods at the Murrieta Valley Unified School District Board meeting on May 13, 2021.
The estimated cost for the 2021-22 school year is $100,000 based on the estimated quantities for the prices listed on the bid.
The contract may be renewed annually upon mutual consent for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods for a maximum of three (3) years, in accordance with Education Code Section 81644.
