Summary: The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into an Agreement with Bloom Software, Inc. dba Thrively (“Thrively”) to provide a full complement of assessments to support the growth of every student with rich knowledge around each student’s strengths, learning style, and habits of mind. Thrively will provide each student with a digital portfolio and access to Social and Emotional Learning Lessons in the area of the five CASEL Competencies. The lessons will address self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and responsible decision-making.

This Agreement includes eight (8) hours of professional development, training, and coaching to help educators learn the use of the platform and train them to assist students in accessing support.

The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, at a cost of $62,000 for student access and professional learning support.
Funding: The cost for this item will be included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through Title IV Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with Bloom Software, Incorporated DBA Thrively to provide an online system of social and emotional support for students.
