Summary:
|
On May 19, 2021, the PUHSD Board of Trustees awarded the construction contracts to begin the Heritage High School Aquatics and Team Room Project (Project). In order to begin this project, four (4) 40-foot storage containers and the fencing that makes up the Heritage Grounds Yard had to be relocated along with fencing and gates that make up the yard. On June 30, 2021, the District requested proposals and awarded the project to Greer’s Construction & Concrete, Inc. This project includes the installation of concrete to make up the Grounds Yard in a new location on campus, the relocation of fencing around the yard, along with related grading and site work to create the new yard. This work was completed by Greer’s Construction & Concrete in the amount of $19,000.
During the construction of the new yard, it was determined that additional fencing and site work was required to fully enclose the yard in a secure manner. This resulted in Change Order No. 001 in the amount of $1,900.
This Agreement is being brought forth as ratification due to the need to move the Grounds Yard and storage containers out of the way of the new Heritage Aquatic Facility footprint in a timely manner. Ratification of this Agreement helped mitigate any potential impacts to the project schedule.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Agreement and Change Order No. 001 with Greer’s Construction & Concrete, Incorporated for the Heritage High School Grounds Yard Concrete and Fencing Project.
