Summary:
|
The California Military Institute (CMI) would like to enter into an Agreement with THINK Together, Inc. (THINK), a California nonprofit corporation, to provide an after-school program for students through the After School Educational and Safety Grant (ASES). THINK will supply the after-school program's staff, materials, management, supervision, and volunteer recruitment.
The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
THINK will be paid a prorated amount of the grant award from the California Department of Education according to Schedule A, attached to the Agreement, in the amount of $162,185.81.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through the After School Educational and Safety Grant, not the Charter General Fund.

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Agreement with THINK Together, Incorporated to provide an After-School Program for the California Military Institute.
