Summary:

Mr. Jeremiah Perotti requests Board approval for the Heritage High School (HHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Officers to attend the Riverside Section Leadership Conference in Angelus Oaks, California, October 18-19, 2022. The Heritage FFA Officers Retreat is a critical component of the leadership program in the FFA organization. Through agricultural education, FFA makes a positive difference in students' lives by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. This conference is a premier leadership event offered by the Riverside Section FFA Officer Team and is jam-packed with learning, development, and inspiration. Scheduled activities include leadership workshops, team-building exercises, and bonding activities between members. This year's conference will be hosted at Crazzy's Wasewagan Camp & Retreat in Angelus Oaks, California.
This is an overnight field trip of one (1) night, with eight (8) students and two (2) adult chaperones. Transportation will be provided via district site vehicles.

The cost for this item is included in the 2022-23 operating budget funded through the Heritage High School Agriculture Associated Student Body Fund, not the General Fund.
