Clover Enterprises - Amendment No. 2. adding hours - CMI_23-24.pdf
Summary: The Perris Union High School District entered an Agreement for Professional Services with Clover Enterprises, Inc. on June 16, 2022. The Agreement stated the contract may be renewed annually upon mutual consent expressed in writing by the District and Contractor for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms in accordance with Education Section 17596. Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Clover Enterprises was approved by the Board of Trustees for the 2023-2024 school year on April 19, 2023, to extend the term of the contract with Clover Enterprises to provide athletic trainer/first responder services (25 hours per week) for the California Military Institute at a cost of $61,503.75. California Military Institute’s (CMI) athletic program has grown to include and engage more students in lower grades. Subsequently, they would like to increase the number of hours an athletic trainer/first responder is on campus and available for students from 25 hours per week to up to 40 hours per week for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Amendment No. 2 will increase the number of hours of athletic trainer/first responder services to up to 40 hours per week for the California Military Institute (CMI) at an additional cost not to exceed $36,902.25; for a total contract cost of $98,406.00. The term of the Agreement remains from August 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, with the option to extend for one (1) additional (1) one-year term.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through the Charter General Fund.
