Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District would like to renew its contract with Oak Grove Center at the Ranch (Oakgrove) to provide breakfast and lunch to its students. The Oak Grove Center at the Ranch administration understands that good nutrition and education go hand-in-hand. Charter schools have several options to provide meals to their students, but both Oak Grove and the District believe it is better to serve the students of our community from within the community. The District agrees to provide meals in compliance with the National School Lunch Program. Meals will be prepared and delivered daily out of the kitchen at Pinacate Middle School. The contract generates an estimated additional $40,000 for the Nutrition Services Department for the 2024-25 school year.
The term for this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
