Summary:

Article 10, section 10.2.1 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Perris Union High School District and the Classified School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter #469 states, “If, during the term of this Agreement, the District grants unit members in any other bargaining unit a cost of living percentage salary increase to the salary schedule (excluding increases based on an increased work year) which exceeds the percentage salary increases contained in this Agreement, the District shall adjust the percentage salary increases contained in this Agreement so that they are equal to the percentage salary increase granted to unit members in the other bargaining unit.”
In December 2021, the District reached an agreement with the Perris Secondary Educators Association that included a salary increase of four percent (4%) retroactive to July 1, 2021, a two-percent (2%) salary increase effective July 1, 2022, and a two-percent (2%) salary increase effective July 1, 2023. Therefore, the District is recommending that all classified employees receive a salary increase equal to PSEA: four-percent (4%) salary increase retroactive to July 1, 2021, for all employees in paid status as of December 1, 2021, a two-percent (2%) salary increase effective July 1, 2022, and a two-percent (2%) salary increase effective July 1, 2023.
