Summary: The Perris Union High School District entered into an Agreement with Care Solace, Inc. (Care Solace). The District is recommending this service to support parents, guardians, and students with obtaining treatment services in mental health and substance abuse. Care Solace will provide a District branded website containing a vetted list of service providers. These match providers will work with families' insurance or through public assistance, procure appointments and services, and provide telephone customer service support to families and students of the District. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, at a cost not to exceed $27,823. This Agreement is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the untimely receipt of the contract.
Funding: The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds, not the General Fund.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees ratify the Agreement with Care Solace, Incorporated to provide resources for mental health and substance abuse.
