Summary:
|
Staff is requesting a new job description for a School Social Worker and authorization to recruit. The position will be a temporary classified management position for 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24 school years designed to perform behavioral, social, emotional, and mental health assessments. The School Social Worker will consult and collaborate with school personnel to promote an environment that is responsive to the needs of students, parents, and staff.
The salary range of $81,156 to $102,432, Salary Schedule #264, Row 1, working a total of 196 days per school year.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24 operating budgets funded through COVID-19 Funds, not the General Fund.
