Summary:
|
Perris High School’s Agriculture teacher Douglas Cousins, has requested Board approval for an overnight field trip request for Perris High School's Future Farmers of America (FFA) students to attend the Annual State FFA Leadership Conference, in Fresno, California, April 8-9, 2022. The purpose of the trip is for the students to build interpersonal communication skills, develop leadership capabilities, and be enlightened of the opportunities offered in agriculture education.
Eight (8) students, and two (2) adult chaperones will attend. Transportation will be provided via District vehicles. The estimated cost is $40 per person. All expenses will be paid from the Perris High School Perkins Grant.

The cost for this item is included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through Perris High School's Perkins Grant, not the General Fund.
