Summary: On December 18, 2019, the Perris Union High School District (the “District”) Board of Trustees adopted Resolution No. 15:19-20 to purchase furniture for use throughout the District on an as-needed basis under the Arvin Unified School District’s (Arvin USD) piggyback bid number 2018-19-001. On October 19, 2022, the Arvin USD Board of Trustees extended the above-referenced bid through November 12, 2023. The District wishes to continue to leverage this contract as awarded to Sierra School Equipment Company by the Arvin USD Board of Trustees for the procurement of various school furnishings, office furniture, and accessories at District school sites.
Funding: No fiscal impact.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 12:22-23 - Authorizing Piggybacking for Purchase of School Furnishings, Office Furniture, and Accessories.
