Summary:
|
The Perris Union High School District currently provides services to approximately 1,750 students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The District contracts annually with the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools through the Riverside County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) for Intensive Behavior Intervention (IBI) services to assess, train, and provide direct supervision curriculum and material for students requiring IBI services. The Riverside County Superintendent of Schools has extensive services for students with these disabilities and continues to do an excellent job of servicing our students.
The term of this Agreement for Intra-SELPA educational services shall be for one (1) year from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. Based on projected enrollment and 2022-23 costs, the estimated cost for these services is $30,000.
This is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the untimely receipt of the Agreement from the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools.
