Summary: The Perris Union High School District would like to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Smile Premier, a dental hygiene provider that serves students with dental care needs. Smile Premier will provide necessary dental services to all students with an identified need upon parent or guardian consent, including preventative, diagnostic, and restorative care. The District will provide oversight of the program and a mutually acceptable place to set up portable equipment or park a mobile facility to provide students with needed dental care. The term of this Memorandum of Understanding shall be from January 18, 2024, through January 17, 2025.
Funding: No fiscal impact.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Smile Premier, a dental hygiene practice, for dental services for students.
