Summary:
|
The Perris High School (PHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Officers respectfully request ratification for their Section Officer Leadership Training at Cal Poly Pomona, California, on August 4-5, 2023. The FFA Section Officers Leadership Training is a critical component of the leadership program in the FFA organization. Through agricultural education, FFA makes a positive difference in students' lives by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
One (1) agriculture teacher, Ms. Charlynn McNaul, will chaperone. There will be one (1) chapter officer (student) participating. Transportation will be provided by the teacher driving a District vehicle.
This item is being brought forward as ratification due to the Southern Region FFA board not informing the sites of the meeting date until the end of July 2023.

The cost for this item is included in the 2023-24 operating budget funded through Perris High School's Associated Student Body Future Farmers of America Fund, not the General Fund.
