Summary:
|
Staff is requesting the approval of a new job description of District Nursing Coordinator and Authorization to recruit. This position will assist in the guidance, supervision, training, and evaluation of the school nursing team and provide professional learning for nurses, health clerks, and other staff supervising the health office. This position will provide leadership and support of district-wide health services and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of students. The District Nursing Coordinator will coordinate, plan and implement health-related services for students throughout the district. This position will be a certificated management position with a salary range of $116,222 to $135,981, Salary Schedule #252, Row 1, working a total of 215 days per school year.
