Summary:
|
One of the eight State priorities of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is to increase parent involvement and communication. As a result, the Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) and the California Military Institute (CMI) have been using BlackBoard Connect to communicate with parents by phone, email, and text messages regarding emergency notifications and student attendance, various school activities, and announcements.
The term of the renewal Agreement shall be from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. The total cost of $17,125.57, including tax, comprises 10,637 user licenses. There are 9,604 PUHSD user licenses for a total of $15,462.44, including tax. In addition, there are 1,033 CMI user licenses for a total of $1,663.13, including tax. Blackboard will send separate invoices for PUHSD and CMI.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through the Local Control Accountability Plan Supplemental and Concentration Funds and the Charter School Fund, not the General Fund.
