Summary:
|
Perris High School's Floriculture teacher, Aaron Nering, has requested Board approval for an overnight field trip request for Perris High School's Floriculture Team to attend the Annual State Future Farmers of America (FFA) Leadership Conference in Fresno, California, April 21-22, 2023. The purpose of the trip is for the students to build interpersonal communication skills, develop leadership capabilities, and be enlightened about the opportunities offered in agriculture education.
Four (4) students and one (1) adult chaperone will attend. Transportation will be provided via District vehicles. The estimated cost is $200. All expenses will be paid from the Perris High School Perkins Grant.
