Summary:
|
The District would like to enter into an Agreement with Bloom Software, Inc. DBA Thrively (“Thrively”) to provide a full complement of assessments to support the growth of every student with rich knowledge around each student’s strengths learning style, and habits of mind. In addition, Thrively will provide each student with a digital portfolio and access to Social Emotional Learning Lessons in the area of the five CASEL Competencies. The lessons will address self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and responsible decision-making.
This Agreement includes eight (8) hours of professional development, training, and coaches to help educators learn the use of the platform and train them to assist students in accessing support.
The term of this Agreement shall be from August 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, in the amount of $62,000 for student access and professional learning support.

The cost for this item will be included in the 2021-22 operating budget funded through Title IV Funds, not the General Fund.
